All About My Mother – While a woman loses her kid, she goes back to Barcelona, renews a buried relationship with a transvestite buddy, who unknowingly the youngster\’s father. Pedro Almodovar directed this movie and it is his most heartrending motion picture to date-more deep than most, although not without his trademark humor and differentiated by wonderful behaviors all around. Cast includes Cecilia Roth, Marisa Paredes, Penelope Cruz, Antonia San Juan, Candela Pena, and Eloy Azorin. (101 minutes, 1999)

The Interpreter – U.N. translator Silvia Broome eavesdrops on a death threat made against an African leader. She knows that she was seen and fears for her life. Upon reporting the event to law enforcement, she finds that assistance will not come easy.

Christmas Vacation – The Griswalds have big plans for the Holidays this year. Clark has invited a bunch of the relations over for the huge celebration. Clark\’s efforts go comically wrong, par for the course for a Griswald vacation.

Big Trouble in Little China – Buddy Blowhard trucker Russell finds himself at large in Chinatown, while a friend\’s fiance is abducted right in front of his eyes. High tech Indiana Jones fashion venture has large tongue-in-cheek demeanor, however everything else in reference to it is colossal, too including Russell\’s John Wayne swagger. Attempting to circumvent a traffic jam he winds up off the beaten path in the small town of Grady, where he winds up crashing his auto. To make things worse, it was into the town judge\’s fence that he crashed. Ben\’s sentence is 32 hours of community service at the town hospital. Serving his time, he begins to like the work, and discovers himself falling in love.

When, Andrea Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway. by total luck, falls into a job as Miranda\’s assistant, she seems to have the chance of a lifetime. Working for the unendurable Miranda proves to be intolerable, no matter what the rewards might be.
