		<description>Download Xvid and install it first. Then download ffdshow and install it. Then go to start-all programs-ffdshow-video decoder configuration. Change the codec for: Other MPEG4 &#38; Generic to Xvid. That's how I was able to play .mp4's in wmp 11</description>

		<description>You don't have to buy anything go to this link and download the k lite codec pack and install it.  During the install you can tell it to associate the codecs, which includes MP4, with Windows Media Player.  Works great.</description>
