Sales so far of the Zune multimedia player from Microsoft seem to be below the number that is expected. To date, according to Amazon sales ranks, the Zune is in the mid 50's for electronic sales. This is behind competing MP4 players from Apple iPod, and SanDisk Sansa, and Creative models. However this is the first generation of Zune players and they are currently not being sold worldwide. So the future is still bright for the Zune, so for now we'll have to wait and see.
